Description

The Thin Blue Line Lifesaver A Is a practice-oriented First aid training for police, government officials and safety professionals. The course strengthens self-confidence in emergency situations and teaches life-saving skills, particularly with Cut, sting, and heavy bleeding. The aim is to enable police officers and security forces to act independently in life-threatening situations.

The training comprises several modules on emergency medicine and wound care, including important STOP THE BLEED® techniques such as pressure bandages, tourniquets and tamponing. Bleeding to death is the most common preventable cause of death — quick and proper care can save lives.

Bleeding & trauma

Massive bleeding can occur in any type of emergency and requires quick action to avoid serious consequences. Bleeding to death is the number 1 preventable cause of death. The STOP THE BLEED® courses teach how to quickly identify life-threatening bleeding and take effective action. This module teaches the most important measures to control blood loss, including applying pressure bandages, bandaging with tourniquets, tamponing wounds, and the correct use of bandages and bandages. Hemostasis training also includes identifying and localizing life-threatening bleeding. Proper wound care can make the difference between life and death.

The following are treated:

  • heavy bleeding and blood loss
  • Cuts and stabs as well as the treatment of wounds with bandages and bandages
  • amputation injuries and the use of pressure bandages and tourniquets

Is the course boring or too long?

Feedback shows that despite 9 hours, the course is “extremely entertaining”.

What if I have physical limitations?

We take restrictions into account so that you can train effectively.

What if I can't see blood?

You will slowly be introduced to the topic.

Do I really need that?

Yes In 3-5 minutes, a person can bleed to death due to severe blood loss — and in a tactical situation, it often takes longer before rescue workers can safely advance. Bleeding to death is the number 1 preventable cause of death. Proper wound care and rapid application of bandages or bandages by first aiders, particularly in emergencies such as knife attacks, can make the difference between life and death. It is therefore essential for police officers, specialists and everyone working in safety-related areas to acquire knowledge and skills in the training and continuing education of wounded people, in particular to stop bleeding (“Stop the Bleed”). In this way, they can protect and save the lives of other people in the event of a disaster, in crisis situations or in the company, at school and in the family.

What our participants say

David K.

Zwei Männer knien im Schnee in einem Wald und beschäftigen sich mit einem schwarzbraunen Hund, einer der Männer trägt ein Gewehr auf dem Rücken.
I have already taken many first aid courses but they were not comparable... and not only because it was aimed at these specific injuries but:
It was really realistic, at eye level, explained simply and practically, we were allowed to try and do everything and also use new materials every time and thus practice (fully equipped) in these special scenarios.
... not just PowerPoint, puppet and theory as usual.

It is really recommended for everyone!

Thanks Hans!!!
