Serious injuries can occur within two to five minutes be fatal if heavy bleeding is not treated immediately. Life-threatening bleeding is a central issue in emergency medicine, first aid training and civil protection.
The Stop the Bleed course is based on the international initiative STOP THE BLEED® which aims to prevent preventable deaths due to blood loss. The course gives you the practical knowledge and skills to to stop life-threatening bleedinguntil professional rescue workers arrive — safely, in a structured manner and with modern medical devices.
This course is short, intensive and practice-oriented and takes place as part of an internationally recognized program. You're not just learning theory — you're training real processes. Bleeding to death is the number 1 preventable cause of death, so a quick response when life is at risk is crucial.

In principle, our workshops and courses are held in the Wiener Neustadt area in Lower Austria. For group bookings of more than 10 participants (e.g. associations, companies, closed companies, etc.), we are also happy to come to you with all training materials after personal consultation.

Target group
The course is aimed at private individuals, companies, associations, athletes, outdoor enthusiasts and people with responsibility in everyday life. A minimum age of 18 years is required. No previous medical experience is required.

Lesson modules
Heavy bleeding remains one of the most common preventable causes of death outside hospitals, often caused by traffic accidents, falls, sports injuries, accidents at work, disasters and the effects of violence. In emergency situations, every second counts, and knowing how to stop bleeding can significantly increase the chances of survival. The STOP THE BLEED® course empowers first responders to act quickly and effectively to stop life-threatening bleeding and reduce the risk of shock. This course complements basic first aid training and provides specific knowledge for critical situations.
