At the start of the first aid course, participants receive an overview of the STOP THE BLEED® program, which includes important steps, materials and priorities for effective action in emergencies. The aim is to give everyone confidence to act so that they can help in an emergency. The qualified instructors teach in a practical and fun way. The basic module provides simple, repeatable procedures for wound care, including head injuries, as well as for controlling critical bleeding and stabilizing the patient.

Module 2 — Trauma Skills (Hemostasis & Stabilization)
  • Hemostasis course content: As part of the STOP THE BLEED® program, course content is taught according to a structured concept. Participants learn three proven measures to stop bleeding: applying pressure bandages, binding with tourniquets and tamponing (packing) wounds. Particular attention is paid to wound care, including in the head area, in order to effectively stop life-threatening bleeding. The treatment of serious injuries is taught in a practical way by qualified instructors from the field of tactical medicine. Our instructors teach in a practical way how to treat and treat wounds quickly and safely, in particular for head injuries. The aim is for all participants — including first aiders — to be able to act competently for their fellow human beings in an emergency. The scenarios promote teamwork, are fun and motivate people to take on responsibility. What our participants say

Zwei Männer knien im Schnee in einem Wald und beschäftigen sich mit einem schwarzbraunen Hund, einer der Männer trägt ein Gewehr auf dem Rücken.
I have already taken many first aid courses but they were not comparable... and not only because it was aimed at these specific injuries but:
It was really realistic, at eye level, explained simply and practically, we were allowed to try and do everything and also use new materials every time and thus practice (fully equipped) in these special scenarios.
... not just PowerPoint, puppet and theory as usual.

It is really recommended for everyone!

Thanks Hans!!!
