Description
The first aid course for hunters and foresters specifically prepares you for emergencies in the area and provides practical skills for hunting and forestry accidents.
In an emergency, you learn to act in a structured and responsible manner and to prepare in the best possible way — especially when it takes longer before professional rescue workers can take over.
The training includes:
- Stopping bleeding with tourniquet and pressure bandage
- Treatment of gunshot and stab injuries
- Treatment of penetrating injuries
- Preventing and Managing Hypothermia
- Coordination of the rescue chain in the field
- Dealing with difficult conditions such as poor network connection or long waiting times
- Scenario training under realistic outdoor conditions
This course strengthens your ability to act and optimally prepares you for emergencies in the hunting environment.

In principle, our workshops and courses are held in the Wiener Neustadt area in Lower Austria. For group bookings of more than 10 participants (e.g. associations, companies, closed companies, etc.), we are also happy to come to you with all training materials after personal consultation.

For realistic scenario training, please bring the following equipment:
- Your own hunting equipment
- Unloaded weapon (on-site safety check)
- Dummy rounds (if available)

- At least one set of spare clothing
- Training clothing that can be cut up in scenario training
The training includes realistic scenarios. Clothing can be damaged or cut up. Therefore, please bring suitable training clothes.
